I'm currently pondering some ideas for new Yugioh fics. Ties that Bind and Aww Scheiss are rounding the turn for home. Actually Aww Scheiss is about one chapter away from home. Stay tuned here for possible tryout fic ideas. I may throw some out on here. Two I'm thinking about are something like sequels to A Day in the Life but only with Thief Bakura's perspective on life or perhaps Marik's. If I do consider those options, I will post trial chapters of them here in this journal first.

Also, I'm still actively writing my Star Wars prequel fic, If Banthas Could Fly. I'm having fun with that as I try to show just how strong the bond of friendship/brothers is between Obi-Wan and Anakin. After seeing some of the deleted footage on the Episode III dvd, I've come to realize that I might be fairly close in my potrayal of this bond. There was a scene where they even start and finish each others' sentence and have special codes like baseball players for different tactics to use.

My YGO Ties that Bind fic may turn into an ancient battle onslaught. I've been a bit inspired by some of the aggressive instrumental songs on the ALEXANDER soundtrack, especially "Titans" and "Dream of Babylon." I may even try my hand at a fanart as I can see a neat image in my head of Anhur racing across the desert in full armor(well as full as ancient Egyptian armor gets, which is only a fraction of that of say, a knight of the Middle Ages) on a raging war stallion as he returns to Egypt by way of the Western Desert (Libya). But we'll see how much spare time I have to fiddle with that idea. Time to write fics is hard enough let alone adding a little fanart.
